Why is it that people believe that the presidential election is the only election when they should vote and make a difference? There are other elections for local and state positions that affect every aspect of our lives. Yes I know Mitt Romney is not a Ted Theodore, Abe Lincoln, or Reagan but that's alright. Why? Because In order to restore the United States of America back to her former glory and beyond we the people MUST establish goals. Goals are realistic, time-bound, measurable, and attainable. Let me show you my goals are as an example;
1. vote out Obama
2. participate in my local and state elections
3. stay informed and contact my representative to inform him or her of my concerns.
4. Talk to others, friends, family, and co-workers and inform them.

These are a handful of goals that I believe everyone of us has the ability to achieve one way or another. I know that there will be more to it than just voting and talking, there will be times for us to take more assertive actions. My point is that even though this election is very important it is still a smaller part of a greater plan. So yes I'm asking everyone to vote for Mitt Romney if he is nominated. If you hate him that much then that's good for you to stay motivated. God Bless.

Romney is not any better; you have to stop the "anybody but Obama" mindset. There's a better alternative than both of them, Governor Gary Johnson, 2-term governor of NM, vetoed 750 wasteful spending bills, has NO ties to any special interest groups and you can't say that about Romney. Remember when Obama's campaign got illegal email addresses from facebook? They got mine and were sending me loads of emails, then after the campaign stopped, Obama won the election, I received no more emails. Last week Obama emails started up again... they must have saved all those illegal emails. Has this happened to anyone else? I surely didn't give Obama my email, not have I posted it on any site. I keep it very private.

First off, you display your idiocy--our President was legally elected by a majority of voters. Get over it! And as a disabled veteran who is proud of my service, I feel if you do your research (and learn something), you will find that most veterans respect our President and respect his positions on getting us out of GW' messy wars, and increasing awareness and programs that benefit our veterans.

Clinton sucked as far as serving during his presidency and anyone that has served his country by fighting in a combat zone has that right to speak the truth. First of all, thank you for your prior service, sacrifices, and selfless willingness to go in harm's way whenever and wherever it was necessary to do so. As a 30+ year retired veteran of the U.S. Army, I applaud that we still live in a country where citizens such as yourself can freely express their non-threatening opinions for or against their government leadership without fear of censorship or other retribution. That's a big reason for why many of us served and continue to serve. It sure ain't the paycheck.

However, I completely disagree with your point of view that Obama is claiming credit for that POS's killing all to himself or using it as a "campaign slogan." It was his call as president to send in the professionals, and he did it. This takes nothing at all away from who actually did the deed, and no one in their right mind would think it does. Obama's comments recognizing the one year anniversary of POS's killing were entirely appropriate, in my own opinion. I may not vote for him in the coming election, but it won't be because of this. You do not speak for me as a service member, you speak only for yourself, and others may or not agree with what you as an individual say, but using your status as a former USN SEAL to add gravity to your comments is as wrong as what you say Obama has done.

I see your point and respect your opinion, but I disagree with both.
